I've finally decided to get serious about getting my certifications, so I wanted to get the A+ out of the way first. I've been thinking about doing this for a couple years now, which prompted me to go and buy Mike Meyers' A+ Certification Lab Manual a little over a year ago (the book is from 2001). It's the book in this link (I have a regular edition, not student):
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/t...102-3751400-1983365?v=glance&s=books&n=507846

Until now though, I havn't even opened the book. I was wondering if I should pick up any additional books for studying or possibly get a newer book? And if so, which ones? And any tips for the actual exam would be great.

HW portion of the exam has recently changed. Your old book does NOT cover everything

Mike meyers book pretty much is the best book out there for the A+ and Net+

PM me if your serious about getting this certification
