9070 Availability

That's the hope. Plus, less software/driver issues. Even Nvidia got bit this time with their seemingly beta release state for 5xxx cards.

realistically how much stock could AMD possibly put into stores before they start getting pissed at the amount of storage space its taking
 
Lets just hope these are even mildly competitive. Nvidia desperately needs competition.

Would assume that yes, would they have released it december-early january we can assume less card would have been available...

If you mean available for you to buy after the first 48 hours with a simple click at msrp, different debate, would they have launched months ago when a 7900xt at cheap price were easy to find to make competition and not in a really starved market.. could balance out to a wash
 
Given the deep Nvidia shortage, I'd expect whatever inventory that does exist to go away quickly if the performance rumors are true.
