you'd have to drop a 400 in one or two to act as a netboot server... then it's just plug and... um... fold. but 3060ghz would be a nice boost... i wonder how i can get the required 1.3 million dollars (and the ~1 million/year to pay power/bandwidth costs) then i'd be all over that. it'd be making something like 6000points per hour, so 144,000 ppd... or so. cool. you'd need a colo level connection, though...
 
The electric bill would be enough to make a rich man sweat ;)
 
I wonder if there is a way to drop the RAM down to 512 meg, drop the hard drive, floppy and CDROM. That should bring the price down a bit. It would help on the power bill a bit also.

I wonder how much that would drop the price if you nixed all those things. :p

 
Yea, I could swing 1.1 mil, but that 1.2 mil is just out of my price range... :rolleyes:
