1) It works fine with X3350, no unknown cpu or anything like that. On bootup it's recognized as a xeon X3350 @ 2.66 - zero issues.
2) CMOS jumper location sucks, must remove a card in SLI to reset it - no external or rear panel cmos (sucks!)
3) Super easy overclocking, it even auto changes the memory timings
4) You need a floppy to install on raid, at least in XP
5) linked and synced FSB & memory is really cool, 1333 memory = 2666Mhz
6) Playing around in bios I think my cpu's limit is going to be 3.6 - 4.0, probably the former as I'm on air. Still, not complaining about a gig overclock. Sure it's not 4.4 like some wolfdales but this is a 4 core cpu so I knew going in it wouldn't be as high. I was fine at 4.0 (in the bios) but had to raise voltages across the board, I don't want (or need) that for 24/7 operation. DDR3 @ 2000 was very cool.
7) I see no reason to buy a $180 OEM Q9450 at newegg if you're going to get this board. A little shopping around netted me the retail box X3350 for $355 shipped (lagoom.com)

1) So far, can't get stable past 3400... Memory at 1700 synced/linked with quad FSB @ 425. I am close to 3600 but cant get it stable. I'm thinking a bios revision. What I am in desperate need of with this MB is a bios guide. There are some strange things I haven't seen before and so far haven't found anybody that does on ANY forum.
2) My 3D mark score is 19302. That is in SLI with 740/1050 overclocks on the 512MB GTSs. I think once I hit 3600 and tweak more I should get 20k in a few months once more info on this board gets out there.
3) I don't yet know if my memory (running 8-8-8-24 T2) is holding me back or my CPU (yes I've tried different timings and cpu voltages). The only things I haven't messed with is about 5 other memory timings below the normal settings in the bios, but I don't know what to do with them.
4) If you don't have EPP 2.0 ram (like me) and aren't a DDR3 guru (like me) you have to remember to set your ram from 1.5 to 1.9 volts to get it to work above DDR1333.

Please comment on my 3Dmark score if this seems normal for a 3.4 system with 1700DDR, thanks. Any comments/suggestions from 790i owners welcome. Also, what is dangerous voltage on DDR3 memory? So far I don't dare exceed 2.0v. Same for Yorkfield cpu, tried 1.36 but dare not go higher, correct?
