So I have a friend that wants to get a new computer for playing games. I'm not up to date on the best bang for the buck so looking for suggestions.

1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Playing newer games and web surfing.

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Around $600-$700 with shipping and tax.

3) Where do you live?
SE Michigan, could drive to a Microcenter but its about a hour away.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Case, CPU, Mobo, RAM (8GB), GPU, HDD (~1TB), DVDRW, PSU

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse

6) Will you be overclocking?
Yes, but nothing crazy, probably would stop once it starts requiring a lot more volts for little gains or when temps get too high, whatever comes first.

7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
22"

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
about a month but he mentioned buying some parts early if good deals pop up.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
If it doesn't cost to much more SATA 6Gb/s and USB 3.0 would be nice.

10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Yes, Windows 7 64bit

You'll want to wait to build the week on or before you're actually going to buy parts, as prices change all the time. And new stuff can come out/come down in price in a months time. Just come back to this thread when he's actually ready to buy.
