6990 $600 American

typically euro prices are 25-50 dollars more then the US prices. so either AMD is releasing at 600 across the board or its being under priced in Europe compared to the norm. i guess all we can do is wait and see.

You guys should see it for less than $600 really. As said though, wait and see, not long now!
 
It will all depend on board partner distribution mesthinks. If it costs more to get cards there due to lesser quantities and thus higher shipping per unit then prices will still be higher. I'm sure there are many more factors to higher prices over there but distribution organization has a good deal to do with it I bet. Here in the US we have trucks, trains and planes going verywhere almost all the time so we have a good distribution setup for any company far superceding that of europe which makes things easier on prices compared to europe.

I don't think we could have realistically expected anything else. Save yourself $100 and get two 6950's. Bonus points for unlocking shaders.
 
They list 600 Euro's 599 dollars & the picture shows 715 euro's for preorder.. Any what way about it I would say I bet that atleast one of the 3 prices will be close.. haha
 
I still venture 650 US dollars on release day here. (based on nothing but a guess)

What are you guys smoking? That shows the card at 715 euros which is $1003 at today's (march 7) rate. Typically if a card is $500 in the USA, the European retailers will have it priced around 500 euros tax included (this is $700) for the same card.

Either way it is much cheaper to get the card in the USA than Europe.

Thread topic is highly misleading. Card is out of stock now, but its price was 715 euros, not 600.

Nederland's VAT (BTW) functions like any other end-consumer value added tax, and personal consumers of products cannot recover it on purchase, so why the hell would you deduct it??

That being said. for 715 euros spent on hardware in Europe, in US you can typically buy 750-800$ goods.

600 Euros is Ex Tax
715 is Inc Tax
599 Dollars was an estimate US price.

I'll enjoy my free next day delivery from almost all of the sites I use. Good luck with your airmail or three-day ground shipping.

European pre-orders for ridiculous prices always crop up before the release of a product and have almost no bearing on the final price. I'm ignoring all this, and sticking with my prior estimates.

Here in Australia my local computer store is selling the 6990 for $999, then later increased to $1099 which is fucking ridiculous, even buying a pair of 6970 sounds more reasonable.
 
I will point out the HIS HD6990 is actually $778 at newegg once shipped. We just haven't seen the cheaper brands filter through yet, presumably.
 
XFX 6990 is on the egg for $710+shipping right now. Well its sold out actually so who knows what price it will be when it comes back in stock.
