I recently acquired a 6800GT AGP. (http://global.aopen.com.tw/Products...800gt-dv256.htm for further specs)
I'm having a major issue with the card. What happens is that the entire image corrupts. And a strange pattern covers the entire screen. Sometimes I can play for 1hour, and sometimes the failure occurs in only 10minutes. This happens only in 3D-applications, OGL aswell as D3D.
Among the games I've tested are Doom3, Far Cry, WoW, HL2 and FEAR.

Corruption in FEAR, you can probably outline the stairway and the firearm.

Zoomed in on the "pattern".
Besides formatting and doing a fresh Windows install. I've also tried some other things to help solve the problem, of which none actually did solve it.
1. Checked temperatures, never above 70C, which is pretty average.
2. Disconnected optical units, to ensure that it is not a question of power.
3. Activated and deactivated Fast Write, aswell as trying AGP4x and 8x.
4. Increased AGP voltage.
5. Tried different drivers, 7x.xx and 8x.xx
6. Flashed MB BIOS.
My entire computer:
Venice 3000+ (tried with it on factory clocks)
Gigabyte Mainboard
Corsair 1GB ram, (factory settings)
Creative Audigy2
Antec Truepower 430W PSU
------
I realize this probably is a RMA issue, but I'd really like to know if there is some software solution to this, or if you have any experience of the corruption I'm describing. Cheers.
