6600K VOLTAGE QUESTION

I have Asrock gaming K6 with 6600k at 4.2Ghz...the voltage is at 1.2 but stays there all the time even if its at idle running at 800Mhz..the temperatures are fine 25C at idle and 50-55 at full load..how can i reduce the voltage when the CPU is at idle state?
 
You can either use auto voltage or manual voltage, that's the choice. I'd recommend manual when you're overclocking because Sky Lake on auto uses too much voltage at peak, and it's not as stable overclocked. It doesn't matter at all in a desktop that the voltage doesn't decrease. Because parts of the chip that aren't being used power themselves down it won't make a big difference. Auto voltage is mainly a feature for portable devices because it saves a bit of power, not even that much.
