1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing?
Light gaming, general office use.
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$600 shipping included.

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Everything that fits inside a case and a non-windowed case with at least 1 120mm fan out, and 1 120mm fan intake.
Mobo, processor with heatsink, DDR 2 Ram, PCI-E video card, SSD (no hdd), Cheap blu ray/dvd-rw drive, PSU, cables.
6) Will you be overclocking?
Maybe, if so, very slightly.
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
Already have a Dell 22"
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
This week
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? etc.
USB 2.0, at least 4 SATA ports for future expansion, onboard RAID controller for future expansion.
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit? No, Will purchase Win7 Home Premium 64-Bit OEM.

But I doubt the PSU would be of any use for this build.
I want this to be snappier than her old Dell running XP. That thing was a nightmare when I used it. Also the more rebates the better, because I get to keep them, but the overall cost before rebates does not need to exceed $600. I figured an AMD Quad core setup with a 64-80 GB SSD will be fine. She does not have a ton of data. Just the OS, Office, and WoW or Everquest I believe. On the Video card I am open to AMD or nVidia. I have not used an nVidia card since my old Ti4600 though. I will be checking this thread on my iPhone all day at work for the next 6 hours. Hopefully I can have something laid out on paper for her to decide. Thanks again guys. (And gals)
