Hey guys, my buddy's system is having display issues. Here is how he describes the issue,
9:00 PM - The Green Meanie: its there like permant
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: dull solid lines that go diagnal across the monitor
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: cant see them on dark colors but like white web pages etc you see them
9:01 PM - hossdaddy: alol the way across?
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: yeah
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: right top right to top bottom
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: they dont move, there solid
9:01 PM - The Green Meanie: looks like a "ruffle" or like a texture
9:01 PM - hossdaddy: unplug the dvi cable and put it back in
9:02 PM - hossdaddy: from both the monior and the video card
9:02 PM - The Green Meanie: already tried that
9:02 PM - hossdaddy: even when just in windows?
9:02 PM - The Green Meanie: yeah
9:02 PM - The Green Meanie: windows, webpage, movies, etc
He has a phenom II quad core with 4 gigs g.skill, antec 620w psu, sapphire radeon 5850, acer p235H, Win7 64-bit. He did a win7 update today, hoping it would clear up the issue but to no avail.
Any thoughts guys?
