I recently added a 2nd 5850 to my PC.
Here are the results of my Crossfire 3DMarkVantage (options on high)
Graphics Score 6774.34592
CPU Score 22259.99999
Jane Nash 17.79182625
New Calico 21.96550369
AI Test 3133.206543
Physics Test 28.17363602
Texture Fill 48.13023261
Color Fill 6.438652053
Pixel Shader 45.8777504
Stream Out 16.51805687
GPU Particles 27.94577599
Perlin Noise 130.553516
Here are the results of Crossfire Disabled 3DMarkVantage (options on high)
Graphics Score 8940.109735
CPU Score 22436.43778
Jane Nash 28.45540428
New Calico 23.83961487
AI Test 3163.233887
Physics Test 28.26655516
Texture Fill 48.09072852
Color Fill 6.441306788
Pixel Shader 46.90578079
Stream Out 32.31771088
GPU Particles 51.64439774
Perlin Noise 130.7128478
One thing which I find odd is the clock speed (same thing in the non-cf'd results)
GPU Count 2 2
Min Gpu Engine Clock 157 157
Max Gpu Engine Clock 157 157
Min Gpu Memory Clock 300 300
Max Gpu Memory Clock 300 300
Min CPU Clock 3603 3603
Max CPU Clock 3603 3603
Anyway-- 3DMarkVantage obviously recognizes the 2nd card (as does CCC, and GPU-Z) but the score is lower when CF is enabled. The only way I can tell if crossfire is enabled is if I check CCC.
Specs:
i7920@3.6ghz
6gb ram
2x XFX 5850 (stock speeds)
seasonic x750 psu
windows 7 64bit
catalyst 11.2
My question is: How do I get my CF setup to work correctly?
