5080 puchase UPDATE!

LOVE that case, that's my old case I'm 99 percent sure. Yours looks like it was in way better shape than mine when I got rid of it.
Thanks, I've had this case for awhile now and it's just always served it's purpose.
Is that a 780t?
Yes, I keep thinking of getting something newer but why bother, this serves me just fine, plenty of cooling and plenty of space.

I finally retired my 780 t after a decade only because the 6500D airflow in black was on sale for 69.99 on a crazy Newegg sale like $140 off or something nuts like that. Yea my only gripe about it was the visible power supply was slowly grinding away at me. It's funny that it bothered me because for example I don't care about the fans rear bracket exposed for intake in case lol.

I've changed all the case fans to more powerful Thermaltakes, I kept up the plastic panel with some plastic polish, although I am looking to see who might be able to customize a new piece of acrylic for the side panel. Yeah the wires exposed is something I have thought about, I really just try my best with cable management, besides I'm the only one who has to look at. The best thing about the 780T is the space, I spent years cutting up my hands on sharp corners or edges on mid-towers, this case is just huge and easily handles the biggest of GPU's.

Enjoy the new card. MSI cards are solid. Still have my white 780T in storage, and now you guys make me want to bring it out to do a build in it again!

At one point I modded the 780T with a 200mm fan on the side panel replacing the acrylic with perforated mesh and the 200mm fan right in the middle of the same panel. I believe it was because I had the quad GPU GX2 setup I don't remember the model after that I had the 980 Ti SLI i have forgotten all the models but multiple gpus for years and the 780 t has crazy air flow modding a 200mm fan to the side just takes it to hurricane 🌀 level lol

Mine had the usb headers die, i beat the hell out of it back then. Once the fans started dying i decided to have it recycled. I probably could've fixed it, but it was time. I do miss it on occasion.

I love it when guys compare the size of their cards. Not going to lie, I've been eyeballing that base model PNY 5080 at the local Best Buy for about a month now, I have a $100 BB gift card burning a hole in my pocket but I already have 5 GPUs and I don't need another.

I currently have a gtx 750 1gb, gtx 1050 2gb, rx 480 8gb and rtx 4070 super
The biggest is the gtx 750, it takes up 3 slots.

Throw it on the Best Buy card for 24 months interest free financing and don't look back, you're thinking too much ;)

I'd hold out for a 5090 super duper.
That one's out but it's a big spender lol, the RTX Pro 6000 Blackwell Workstation edition. 90 Cards haven't gotten supers though the 3090 did get a Ti version.
