Looking to go used this time around

1) What will you be doing with this PC?

Gaming,Watching movies/music, and PhotoShop here and there

2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?

$500 but this is a bit flexible

3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.

South Florida(no microcenters unfortunately )

4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word"Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'llneed.

CPU/HSF/Mobo/RAM/OS

5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply.List make and model.

ATI 5850, Corsair TX750, PCI x-fi(not sure if I could squeeze an PCI-e asus xonar in the budget)

6) Will you be overclocking?

Yes.

7) What is the max resolution ofyour monitor?

1680x1050(going 1920x1080/1200 later this year)

What size is it?

22"

8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?

Within 4-5 weeks.

9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video (as a backup or main GPU)? UEFI? etc. 10)

Crossfire/SLI support, USB 3

Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If yes, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?

No I'll have to purchase an OS.

So you realistically have a budget for $400 for the CPU, mobo, RAM and HSF and you want to OC?

The OS is gonna cost you $100 no matter what.

Yes sir and I know. Most likely I'll purchase a used i7 920/Mobo combo for $200-$220. OS for $100. RAM for $50-$75. Haven't decided on a HSF yet(212+?).

My wireless adapter and sound card are PCI. Trying to ditch at least one of them so worrying about legacy support isn't too much of a concern

The RAM should not cost more than $50 unless it's a 16GB set. The 212+ is fine.
