Build is primarly to run Hold'em Manager 2 and drive 2 displays. On my current pc I'm using one DVI and one VGA and it works fine so I don't mind doing the same with a new pc. Comes out to $550 with $60 in mail in rebates. I have no issue using rebates. I have a shoprunner account so shipping will be free.

Thoughts?

Thought about an i3 or i5 Intel NUC with the 2.5" drive provisioning?

Got any specific one in mind? Initially it is what I wanted but I couldn't find anything. All the ones I found use i5's clocked under 2Ghz.

1.3 / 2.6 GHz

It's a 2C/4T i5, so you would be sacrificing some processing power.

There's also the Gigabyte Brix offerings - all the way up to i7, but they are not cheap. Many Ivy Bridge models are discounted on Amazon to move them off the shelves.

All in all, your build list may be the better route, afterall.

Reason for new build is the need for more processing power.

I purchase the case, psu, and ssd today. I have 3 weeks to do this build so I'll wait on the rest to see what deals pop up.

Thanks for the help!

Any chance of canceling the order? I ask because I really don't recommend that SSD as it's a bit of an unknown in terms of reliability and performance. I would recommend the Crucial MX100 or the Samsung 840 Evo series SSDs instead.

The PSU has the same issue as well: It's an unknown and Rosewill isn't a PSU company where you can trust every PSU they sell. The only information I've been able to find about that Rosewill is that it's an ATNG. ATNG's quality can range from crap to fantastic depending on the PSU company's requirements. Hence why it's still an unknown. For not much more, you could have gone with the confirmed high quality Rosewill Capstone-450W or the Seasonic G-Series 360W.

The RAM is a really bad choice since you you are limiting yourself of 8GB of RAM max:
$80 - Crucial Ballistix BLS8G3D1609DS1S00 8GB DDR3 1600 RAM

Another option I'd consider: refurb Mac Mini. Extremely small.
