Casual gaming, web browsing, school work, email, ect.

A power supply will be reused:. Corsair CX400. Also, a 20' monitor will be reused.

I'm told the monitor is around 20'. I'm not exactly sure of the resolution.

I plan on building the pc in the next couple weeks

That case is OOS. I recommend spending the extra cash for these cases:

Swap the CPU, mobo, and DVD drive for this Intel setup:

$5 cheaper than your planned setup but you now get a faster and lower power CPU.

What exactly do you mean by "casual gaming"?
 
I'm building this pc for my friend's sister. By casual gaming I meant that this pc will not be running games more demanding than world of goo, sims, plants v zombies, or any game of that sort.

In that case, the GT 430 will be fine.
