I want to test out my new 4K monitor. I do not want to stream the content on Youtube to test. Is there 4K content I can download to test my new toy? Thanks!
 
both links only seem to have 4k content down-scaled not uncompressed 4k.
 
not sure. looking for real content myself. i've got a copy of elysium on blu ray but that's been down-scaled to 1080p.

If you're referring to "mastered in 4K" it's just a marketing ploy to lure in the tech-illiterates. :eek:

Most movies are filmed at 4K or even 8K for IMAX.

There's not going to be any proper 4K 10-bit colour content available for some time yet.
 
its more than a marketing ploy but its certainly not proper 4k. the 'mastered' series do run at a higher video bit rate than their standard 1080p versions; an improvement of about 10 mbps sometimes more. we should be seeing 4k titles and players this time next year.
