4890 or 285?

Ok , well, thanks for all the input guys. I went ahead and just ordered the Sapphire 4890 Toxic ( clocked at 960) as it just came off of auto notify today I think. I do now have a 4870 for sale (512MB) version, so let me know if anyone is interested.
 
Toxic is a great card. Mine's 43C idle 60-65C load and very quiet.

The only thing out there than beats it is an overclocked GTX 285. I prefer it's price, thermal properties, and acoustics to +4FPS.

Of course if you're running a monitor smaller than 1920x1200, your load temps may be lower.
 
imo ATi's drivers are better than Nvidia's. It seems to get the best performance in a certain game I'd have use a different driver than I currently have working for another game, where as ATi's drivers are more universal. I've had more problems with Nvidia's.
