470 or 5870?

I have a 285 GTX that I just returned that went bad, was going to use the refund to just grab a 470.


Starting doing some reading mabye Im better off with a 5870?

Comments?
 
I would also wait till xmas sales bro. They had amazing sales for thanksgiving on the 470s as low as 155.00. I expect xmas to bring alot of sales on cards
 
Between the two, the 5870 is the faster card. That would be my choice unless you can just get a stupid deal on a 470.
 
if the 5870 drops as low as ive seen the 470s then I would get the 5870. as of right now with xmas coming up im going to say the 470 will be stupid cheap where the 5870 prolly wont drop at all.
