Hello all,

I'm currently running an i5 3570k with a small stable overclock and an Asus P8Z77-LK mobo. With the new Intel CPU's out and mobo's is there a worthy upgrade for $400 if not a little less? Would upgrade if it's worth it. Thanks in advance!
Edit: Little more info, currently running Windows 8.1, MSI R9 290x, 16GB Ram. Thermaltake 750w PSU (not sure on model right now, not at home), 250GB SSD for OS and 2TB HDD.

No, not worth it. You'll won't have to upgrade your CPU + mobo + RAM until 2016 to 2017 at the earliest.

If you haven't already, add a SSD (Crucial MX100 or Samsung 840 Evo or Samsung 850 Evo series) to your system. That'll further extend the useful life of your PC.

Well, that is settled then. I do have an 256 GB 840 EVO for the OS. Thanks Dangman for the quick response...
