Got some Mushkin 3x4GB 2000MHz at Cas 10-10-10-27 1T sticks...
Is it normal to require 1.4875 QPI to run sticks like these?

And can someone refresh me on the 'rules' to follow with QPI vs DRAM vs Core voltage?

Thanks!

What bclk are you running?

I would think that if you are doing like 143bclk and running the RAM at 2000 you should be able to run lower than 1.4875v QPI.

But, if you are running something like 200bclk, you are lucky it only takes that much QPI voltage.

As long as you keep the QPI voltage within 0.5v of the RAM voltage you should be fine.

Yep 200 BCLK. Will I need to up also for 12gb and 200 bclk at 2ghz vs 6gb?

I would think that you really shouldn't have to run any more voltage if you are running the same number of sticks... (3x4GB instead of 3x2GB). I could be wrong though.
