3DMark For Testing Temps

Is 3DMark a good test for understanding temperatures under "normal gaming conditions"? I know IBT, Prime95, etc. run temps as high as they can, but I'm looking for something to give me gaming temps without actually playing games and checking the logs every time I stop. I'm lazy and don't have time to test different games in a few days.
 
No 3dmark is not indicative of normal gaming temps. I run 3dmark vatnage and 3dmark11 and only gives me about 60C when I loop them nonstop 3 times. Playing BF3, Farcry 3, or Planetside 2 and temps will get up to 65 to 68C. Even furmark only gives me about 65C max.
 
Some temperature sensing applications (I think MSI afterburner does this) will give you onscreen overlays for this?

Rememeber to only ever one sensor program at once.
