3D Printed Shelby Cobra

Very cool, but it didn't really say how much of the car was printed. It looked like just the frame and the shell were printed.

Never paid attention to the Cobra that closely, but is their a gap between the wind shield at the edges between the car and the window? Because there was in this version.

Not in any pictures I've seen of Shelby Cobras. If you actually compare the car in this video to a real Cobra, the lines aren't quite the same, especially those in the side view around the doors.

They may have had to alter the shape to compensate for limitations of the printer used.

That and they didn't actually model it with doors, instead choosing to alter the lines to allow easier ingress/egress.

There is usually some kind of gap. The windscreens are made more or less by one maker for every Cobra replica. You drill the vertical posts to attach to the frame wherever the windscreen hits in the middle of the body. A large rubber gasket on the bottom of the windscreen is supposed to close the entire gap and make it look normal. If it doesn't, the shape is way off, although it isn't unusual for it to take all the gasket in places. They almost all will leak a little water from the hood into the cockpit that way.
