360 HDDVD: i'm retarded...

so i picked up a jasper tonight. I have the hd dvd plugged into the 360 plus the external power. where in the hell do i launch the movie from? the whole nxe interface is new to me...

Actually I'm glad I was not the only one. If you go to "My Xbox", and go all the way to the right, you should see the HD-DVD section. It's almost the last one. Makes you wonder if they tried to hide it out of shame
Have to be honest I don't use to much physical media anymore as I simply convert them to mp4 and stream them to the xbox. Pretty much goes from retail package, to Blu-Ray drive in the pc, and finally to share on the WHS. Must be getting old/lazy as I would rather click on a few items in the xbox blade to put on a movie vs get up and shift through the physical movie collection.

Yeah, it's a little annoying that it's not right next to the first option. My wife and I use the HD-DVD drive to watch DVDs mostly - don't have to swap games out of the main drive, which makes it a bit more convenient than using the PS3 or the main drive.

it is the second to last tab right before system settings. I hate the nxe interface cause it hides all the stuff I use frequently lol and it no longer auto loads hd-dvds

ya one of my only complaints is that there's a little too much scrolling to start the movie, not a deal breaker by any means (50 bucks? very reasonable) but it is more obnoxious. probably the only think i didn't like about the switch to NXE

for what ever reason, the hd dvd drive wasn't showing up. unplugged it from the 360 and plugged it back in got it to show up in the dashboard.
