3570k vs 3770k for streaming.

what im asking is will i see a difference in performance streaming between the 2. I dont want the 3770k is better... No shit lol, but in gaming its been proven over and over there arent much gains between the 2, let alone for the 100 dollar price difference.

Will this be a dedicated streaming rig or an AIO rig that you're gaming and streaming from?

First thing I'll tell you is that it wouldn't hurt bumping up to 16 gigs of ram.

What are you using as your streaming software? OBS or xsplit?

I'd go with 16gig @ 1866 because you will want to vary what you are streaming from time to time and I can tell you that it can get rather demanding.

If it's in the budget get the i7, if it isn't in the budget go with the i5.

The hyperthreading with the 3770k will help with streaming quality. Up to 720p and maybe low bitrate 1080p you'll be fine with the 3570k, but if you want things crystal clear, maybe run a video (say webcam, PiP stuff) in the background, output high bitrate audio, then you'd definitely want the 3770k over 3570k.

Is there any particular reason why ITX?

I'd also recommend 16gb ram, the more the merrier.
 
If you can get a good deal on an 8350 that might work for you as well.

All those extras cores could be used for encoding the stream.

WOW also doesnt really like the lower IPC on the amd chips and you could potential get less frames, but you wont see this in an ARENA. You might see this in a world boss fight or a 25man raid
