32" or 34"?

I'm trying to decide between a 32" monitor (1440P) or a 34" curved monitor (ie the Dell). I'm in finance and stare at a lot of charts and graphs all day. I currently have a (2) screen set up with (2) 24" Dells. My main screen is a 1920 x 1200 Dell and the other is a 1080P 24" dell.

I know either monitor would be a huge upgrade for me but truth be told I've never seen either one in the flesh (only pictures online). How much difference is there (size wise) between the 32" and say a 34" Dell curved? I don't game at all just look at charts and graphs all day, etc.

Also I just bought a new Dell PC which has Intel HD 4600 graphics in it. Will this run either of these monitors at full resolution over HDMI?

What do you guys think?

Thanks,

It really depends on your habit. Do you prefer to stack graphs like in a box (in which case the 32" is better due to it being taller) or do you line them up (in which case 34" ultra wide would be more suitable)?

This. Personally, I've been really happy with the U3415W outside of gaming, though it's been limited to some light programming and looking at text documents and web pages side by side. Certainly more real usable space than my previous 16:10 1920x1200 panel. If you're going from dual monitor to that, though, it's honestly not going to be a big change. If I were you I'd look at a 4K Samsung TV like the JU6500; that'd effectively give you 4x1080P resolution, though you would need a new GPU to drive it at full 60Hz.

if you are on finance the best solution for you is triple portrait 25" 2560x1440, like the Dell U2515H. 12 million pixels, fully adjustable pivoting stands, DP MST out, so one laptop with displayport can drive all 3 monitors. even 2 U2515H would be better than ultra-wide 34".

This is the highest information density one can get within the limits of human vision, and as a modular solution you can add or remove monitors from your setup without hassle.

I think the pixels might be too small for me with the Dell U2515H. I've read that the pixel density on a 32" 1440P is about the same size as my 1200P 24" Dell which is fine for me. Anything smaller and I will probably have to squint to read things (my eyes suck).

Thanks for the suggestion though,
