3007wfp fixable?

Was wondering if anyone knows what could be the problem with this. Would it need a new panel?

Looks to be a screen defect, if it is relatively new call it in for warranty

Just in case, try swapping inputs/cables.

its out of warranty unfortunately, tried swaping with non dual link dvi cable, still had the same issue on a lower resolution (tried different computer too).

kind of slowly happened one band to 2-3 and then finally turned to snow within around 6 months. Was kind of usable till the middle one kicked in.

If out of warranty.

It could just be an issue with internal connectors. Teardown/re-assemble might fix.

Did you buy with a credit card that has warranty extension? (amex)

with the monitor on, unplug the dvi/vga connentor from the computer. the 3007 will then start cycling through a R/G/B test screen.

Are the bands still there? Might rule out a duff video card etc

Visa also has a 1-3 year extension.

tried the cycling and I can see it does a black white grey then rgb test. On the white I can see it there, also tried to switch out the controller card but that wasnt it. Probably the panel thats broken unfortunately, anyone out there need parts let me know.
