I want a pair!

They sure were big on cigarettes back in the day. A device for smoking a whole pack at once? Hardcore.

I'm not sure why rocket belt is on the list. Rocket belt is still being investigated and has a great deal of potential once we figure out how to beat the fuel limitation.

Apparently, tomatoes scream in pain when you slice them, its true, so says the founder of scientology

Here's your breakdown:
1. Ways to smoke cigarettes
2. Ways to fly
3. Something to do with babies
4. Miniature technology
5. Ways to cross water while wearing a suit.

Yeah no kidding, should have stuck the invention of the cigarette there in the first place just to cover all basis.

I can't fathom how someone thought it was a good idea to place a baby in a cage that hangs outside your high rise window

Michael Jackson could have used one of those baby cages for dangling an infant out a window.

Of course he doesn't need that anymore. ;)

Alright, this article is a fail....there's a couple of cool things.

Wish list:
Rocket belt
Flying Platform

Agree with these for sure:
Baby cage......I mean WHO could possibly think this was a good idea?!? Maybe Michael Jackson.
Birdman suit.......ROFL! Dope deserved to die if he really though jumping out of a plane in that was going to work.

I also got no love for the beating breasts. Figures those little A-cups came out of Japan.:D
Cmon guys........come out with at LEAST a C.:)

I would like to place an order for the "Beating Breasts". My reasons are my own...

The curved barrel machine gun/submachinegun/assault rifle was developed by the Germans during WWII for the STG44/MP44 not by the US in 1953. And it had a mirror in the curve so you could see around the corner. Guess Life fails at Life.

I want the illuminated tires!

That's kind of what I was thinking when I saw that. I couldn't help but think 'umm, that doesn't seem so bad?' The rocket belt idea was pretty neat. The flying platform idea seems like an early hovercar/those jets that can land veriically/lift off vertically without a runway.

Wait, I just think I figured out the problem with the illuminated tires. What do you do when the bulbs run out on the inside of the tire? Somehow, rip it open and replace the bulb, then re-seal/repair the tire? Sounds ...difficult and possibly unsafe to drive around on tires that have been slit open and then resealed with...temporary tire-patch goo designed for flat tires and limited use till you can get a new tire?

The lights are in the wheel wells, not in the tires. Read the description again.

Although the nail in the bottom of the Tomato with two probes jammed into it as well screams Multimeter to me.

But then it was invented by a sci-fi hack that topped himself, so who cares about fruit screaming.

From the Article said:
A woman adjusts her stocking by the light of the Goodyear's illuminated tires. The tire is made from a single piece of synthetic rubber and is brightly lit by bulbs mounted inside the wheel rim.

Just sayin'......

I'll take a set of those tires.

The whole pack smoker thing could be for other interesting things. :)

Is it just me or does the face in the shower hood look a lot like Carrot Top.

Seriously, who on [H] doesn't want some VR glasses? I still dream of the day of complete immersion. :D

I could imagine pimps and guys with huge chains around their neck digging the illuminated tires.
