Maybe for some, but not for all.Yuck, same res as a 23 (and Dell's 27''). Nasty pixel pitch, but hopefully it will turn out well![]()
Sweet how much you think it will run?
When are these supposed to finally become available? I've been waiting for so long...
Yeah, that's what they said back in January, but the VX2435 was supposed to be released in February and that just became available in Canada and still isn't available in the US. Hopefully it will be soon, but given all the delays so far I wouldn't count on it.while the VX2435wm will ship in February and the VX2835wm in April.
This is taken from E-Week
"These new products from ViewSonic will be released in 2007. The estimated dates of release and pricing are as follows:
The PJ258D will be available in quarter 1 through authorized ViewSonic professional audio-visual resellers, distributors and solution providers for an estimated street price of $999.
The VX2055wmb/wmh and VX2255wmb/wmh will be offered in March for estimated street prices of $349 and $449, respectively, through authorized ViewSonic resellers, distributors solution providers and retailers, while the VX2435wm will ship in February and the VX2835wm in April.
The N2652w will be available in February with a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $699 and the N4261w in March at an MSRP of $1799. The pricing and availability of the N4661w will be announced in the second quarter."
This link shows a price of $1622 and availability on 5/27/07.
I hope that is not the final price.

Yet mine has the DVI problem... in which if you unplug the DVI cable form either the back of the monitor or from the back of your video card, it goes into standby mode. You then have to clear all charge from the capacitors, make sure your PC is off, and then replug everything...
