$27 water cooling?

I feel sorry for you, their tech support sucks as most of their people don't speak english as a primary language + you'll be on hold for hours. Too prove they don't speak english I wrote a review which they replied saying they don't discriminate against customers who don't speak english, when In fact I said it was them that didn't speak it. And if what you bought is defective, they'll refund your money - a restocking fee.

That sounds like a great deal, if they work outta the box and last quite awhile. If not, Im sure you'll experience the headache I went through to get a refund.

I don't know if i could trust this.

Doesn't even say what this will work with!!! LOL

Cheap device containing water in an expensive computer... There's just some things you shouldn't go cheap on, and this is one of em.

It would be even funnier if it actually worked.... ok whos is the oinky??? :D

i'd try it on my old prescott 2.4... on water i could probably get to that magic 1ghz OC i was trying to get when i first got it... 3.3 is just so close.... yet so far away

shoot i pay more for a good aluminum heatsink that doesn't even come with a fan

i think its pretty dope that the pump runs off of a mobo fan header...

pretty gay that the pump (which probably puts out heat) is ontop of the cpu.... but hey

lol $27

EDIT: i bought one, wth, its about a tank of gas

Wow, that got alot of responses. I dont care about the mounting. I've got access to a small machine shop at work so i can fab up someway to mount like i've done with all my selfmade water blocks.

"Uber" build it yourself Gaming Rig - $1500
Buying that Budget Watercooling setup you found at the [H]ardforum.com "Hot Deals" forum - The cost of our cable bill.
Finding out that the Water Cooling you thought would work, but really fried your "Uber" gaming rig, reducing it to an "Uber" pile of #&$%, while it set your desk on fire that your cat was sleeping so peacefully on causing the cat to run through the house with a flaming tail, igniting your faux microfiber sofa on fire which was really rated as fire retardant which in turn caused your house to go up in a blaze, and because of heavy winds that night, your neighbors house went up in flames also, and sadly the fire department put their house out first while you run around outside in your boxers because it was the only thing you could get on while chasing the cat around the house to put it's tail out with the small bottle of water from your desk that you used to fill up the watercooling setup with. - priceless....

for 27 bucks and a cheapo processor, I'd try it. Sounds like fun but I wouldn't risk more than that. gl.

That one looks different than the 1st... Priceier but if it works! Intel did say they would come out with a chepo h20 cooling... why can't these guys?

biggest pos ever eh? got some numbers to back it up?

I ordered one and then installed it in my pc. btw there are no instuctions that are detailed. So everything is running after I install it and i see my temp rise from 30 degress C to 90 degrees C. My computer shut off and the whole water cooling thing was super hot! Just a warning to all!

Who says that you can only use it for cooling a cpu?
some of us that case mod can find other ways to use this cheap thing.

Hmmm, maybe a soda can chiller, or something else maybe.

A)made of sh!t materials
B)fan is somewhat loud
C)My stock intel HSF keeps the cpu cooler!

save your cash and take the spouse/friend out to dinner!

Lucky.. gas goes for me goes about $55, twice a week.

• Low Acoustic Noise: Fan does not work.
• Low CPU Temperature Fast: Only if you throw this away and buy a real heatsink.
• Low Power Consumption: Because there's no power that needs to go to it.
• Light Weight: Because it's hollow.
• Free of Water Replenishment: Because it doesn't need water.
• No Coolant Requires: Because there's no water.
• Space Saving with Small Size Dimension: Because it's hollow, small, and doesn't work
• Reduce Temperature with Radiator Module: As opposed to heating?

This will probubly cause your cpu to overheat, making your case get so hot, the second you touch it, you burn yourself, while jumping around in pain, you knock that desklamp off your desk, it starts a fire, spreads to your entire house, creating a massive city-wide inferno, which the light is reflected off by a nearby town's giant discoball, making this a disco inferno.

Seriously, for that price there would have to be cut corners, inferior design and low(or no)quality parts with that thing.

I could see myself buying it to water-cool my crappy belkin router for shits and giggles, or possibly water cooling my 286 laptop. But really... a heatpipe cpu cooler would be a more sound idea.

Although its tempting for the price. horrible quality or not, the lazy side of me says "ehh I could build one like this for $5.00 but I dont feel like it so Ill buy one equally crappy".

I dunno about that, it might suffocate it and cause it to spontaneously combust or melt a hole thru the other side of the motherboard. :p

Because Intel can put a lot more engineering effort into one and show performance specs of it. ;) See http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1027721 for more diagrams and pictures of it in the Spring 2006 IDF presentation.

Maybe itis a preference thing. I like my 7500 lb. land yatch, as I dont fit in the small rice grinders all the green folks seem to be pushing on people. Besides I dont think a gutted deer or a dozen ducks would smell that good after driving out of the river bottoms with them thrown in your back seat. Also Mine seats 5 comfortably like a limo.

Watch the PETA flames fly with this one folks.
