So I bought this Areca RAID card with plans to build a massive file server but other priorities got in the way, so my loss is your gain. It comes with the original box, manual, and six SFF-8087 cables The same model is selling for over $1000 on Newegg as seen here:

This card comes with 512MB of cache memory easily upgradable to 2GB should you choose to do so with an inexpensive dimm. Looking for ***NOW SOLD**** $575 SHIPPED. You won't find a better deal on this card anywhere, but if you do, send me a message and I'll beat it. I have 100% feedback on both eBay and heatware and have done numerous deals on Hard forum before so buy with confidence.

Bump for excellent SATA native Areca which is only a little more than the price of an IBM M1015+Expander and unlike the M1015 will spin JBOD drives down (sleep) in Windows in addition to bulletproof hardware RAID. Hell you could even just run the card in pure JBOD mode and get 24 PORTS in a single PCIe slot instead of multiple cards.

And the out of band ethernet based WebGUI is priceless and why may never go back to LSI or anything else once u get a taste of it.
