Hey guys, I don't know too much about the newer LCD techs, so I was hoping I could gather some info.
The panels driving the newer 22" and 24" screens, do they run the same technology? It seems that on the market, that the 24" screens are much more expensive than the 22" ones, despite the size difference. I've read things that the native resolution on the 22" screens is weird... but won't your game scale well anyway?
Will a 22"/24" HDCP compliant LCD support 1080p for console/dvd connection?
Another thing I've been noticing is that people are using lcd TVs as their monitors. From what I gather, these screens are much cheaper than designated LCD monitors... but people seem to praise them with very high regard. What then is the downside to using LCD TVs as monitors? I realize that the resolutions supported by these screens is much lower than a comparable LCD monitor... so how do you guys find it?
Thanks!
