So the 22" LCD's I've been looking at are the samsung 225bw, Sceptre x22wg, Westinghouse LCM...somethingorother, Acer AL2216wbd, BenQ FP222W, and the Viewsonic VX2235WM. Just for fun I linked all manufacturer site descriptions.

What I've gathered about them specwise that is notable (ie...something the others don't have)
Most of them have 16.7m colors...which from what I gather here (far from an expert) means that they are 8bit panels...unless it's 16.7m with dithering. So if it isn't noted I found it had 16.7m colors.
