dell keyboard with apple monitor.
how does it feel the microsoft keyboard? does it work only with mce (or vista) oses??

I know it's a little twisted. Well actually since I'm using windows the most I switched Apple monitor from MacMini to my Windows PC except that, everything else in place.
No I don't use DELL keyboard with Mac and vise versa.
Actually I like this DELL keyboard allot even it's not wireless, I went thru many Logitech keyboards all top models and I have to say they all very nice keyboards but then I start using DELL keyboard at work and just love the feel of it, then I decided to get one for home, If I remember correctly it was around $30 :)

Nice PS3 Shoop first one ive seen in this thread
My props go to JSClark for the Dreamcast, which is ultimately more awesome - using a TV Tuner card are you actually getting VGA out of the old DC? Because trust me, it looks a HELLUVA lot better in VGA mode than in TV mode - got mine hooked up to an old 14" CRT monitor.

Hey guys, awesome forum, and awesome thread! Ive been looking at the old 2006 thread since it started, and i finally decided to make a username on this great message board!

Heres my setup, nothing special(actually terrible compared to 95% on this site), but it gets the job done.:)

The picture doesn't look bad at the moment, its no actual VGA or anything. However, my main issue at the moment is the fact that there is a noticeable delay with the picture. I'm going to check into it more tonight when I get home to see if there is something I can tweak, or perhaps use different software. There's actually some resolution adjustment that I need to do in order for everything to display properly, plus play with some sort of timings and everything. Also, I may end up routing my cable TV connection through there as well to see if I can pick up basic channels.

So far, I'm actually not satisfied with Hauppauge on the PVR card, but further testing should rule out my final judgement.

Almost all capture cards tend to suck for console gaming. They are great for TV, but theres too much lag for gaming (every card Ive used lagged).

Yeah, thats pretty sucky... you would think there would be alot more responsiveness, but I guess not.

What really sucks is that my 27" TV is on its way out, and my surround sound just crapped out on me, so yeah.... we'll see what I can do.

Anyways, not to derail the thread, alot of these setups are hella nice!!

Haven't changed my workstation areas lately. I am new to this site, so hopefully some of your workstations will help me re-do my PC work area! This is by far the most amazing forum(s) out there! I love it!

Nice setup. What mouse is that (not the MX518)?

Nahid: How is that MS Ergo 4000 going for you? Does the spacebar work properly if you press on one of the sides?

Nice setup.

Nice setup.

Thanks BBQ,

It's nice Keyboard, although all of these pictures are influencing me to get the G15 for some reason. :)

Ballpoint: Very slick setup! I've never seen a desk quite like it. Is that a laptop propped on its side in the far right cube under your PC?

Mr. Wolf: It's my scanner. Canon LIDE something or other. I keep my laptop in its bag in my front closet.

Lillimon04: It's an Ikea desk that is no longer made. It's actually a big desk with 3 Ikea "Vika Annefors" units underneath and to the side of it. They match really well and togehter make for a very modular system. If I need more counter space or want the speakers further behind me, I can just slide the Vikas out from underneath the desk.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It's nice to show it to people who put thought into their workstations and thus can appreciate how much thought I've put into mine!

Oh and here's some more pics of the rig:

No drives blocking airflow. Should probably turn the HDD around to help cable management.

I have a 3007WFP with a 2005FPW in portrait mode along with my main/gaming rig and server/secondary gaming rig. Both monitors are hooked up to my main rig, and I use remote desktop to control the other one. The server is only used for gaming when I have friends over, and I move my 2005WFP over to another desk. The got the 30" and new desk for Christmas. Also, don't worry about the wires, that is my weekend project.

Also posted in the LCD thread.
