hahha awesome! i have same tv as spotdog! my first lcd tv too! now if i could only find codes for my tivo remote to control this damn thing!

lol its my first HD LCD TV as well. So far it a pretty happy with it, though i do have one dead pixel, but it is not very noticable. And i have a problem of when it gets to hot the HD tuner does not work. But besides that its great, awsome picture quality for the price.

The tivo remote isnt by chance a learning remote is it? Because that is how i had to program my Harmony remote.
 
nah im good now, got fed up, googled it, and low and behold, using Mitsubishi codes worked wonders.
 
Finally I got some extra cash to put into good use.. So I bought what I've been dreaming of for over a year now.. A 32" LCD! Behold the Hyundai Vvuon Q321: :D

BTW: Im a 20-year old student, and I bought all the hardware with my own savings.. :p It wasnt cheap (Or a good idea?), but what the hell, we only live once! :cool:

Thanks for the comments! :) I like sort of a minimalistic look, so there arent any useless crap laying around on the shelves..

But im really pleased with all the hardware, Ive always tried to go with the best priced products. :p

New desk... I looked all over for a desk and finally found one at a decent price.. L Shaped desks are EXPENSIVE! I nabbed this one for 119.00 at Officemax. Serves its purpose. I can do school work on one side and hack the planet on the other! :)

I do PHP/MySQL programming so its nice to have an area to lay out my books. I'm still waiting on my 20" WideScreen dell monitor to come in. Got it for $140.00 from a friend who works at Dell! Woot.

Thats my Fiance.. I took an old high school photo of her and manipulated it into a wallpaper for my secondary monitor. It's not that old, she and I are 25 so that photo is 7 years old.

wait wait, u got that desk for $119, whoa, i think staples has those desk for alot more.
either way congrats on the desk, and ya know ya gotta post updates setup when u get new monitor in.

Its really easy to keep the place clean, since there arent too much crap slowing me down. :D 1 hour of cleaning every 3 weeks and its all good.

Nice and neat, the only problem I have is the Scarlet and Grey; better colors would be Maize and Blue :D
 
So here is my workstation - sorry for the mess we are still running wire - we dont want to drop it into the walls since I am going to be leaving the house in Feb. Also - I apologize for the cheesy cell phone pics - no digi cam yet : \

I have that same corner desk from officemax. I posted it in post #2628. Its a nice desk. The one I got my girlfriend from officedepot is alittle nicer though, and larger. I liked the officemax one since it was low enough to use my keyboard on the entire desk surface rather than needing to use a keyboard drawer. In order to set the monitors back far enough I have them on their own small stands btw. Its nice having all that room on the 'wings'.

Well, it was proved yesterday that Scarlet and Grey are the better colors. ;)

LOL!

I love it.. I use the other side for my laptop (when it gets here) and school work.. Gives me plenty of room. Except the left side where my desktop is, its kinda cramped.. with my G15 (Oversized keyboard) and the monitor.. I'm hoping the 20" WideScreen base is small like this Acer 19 I have.. Otherwise imma have problems..

If your in the states that desk I have is cheap at Officemax for Christmas.. It's easy to put together and study as heck! But.. If you plan to use both sides and your on carpet.. Make sure you get a 48x60" Rectangle Chair Mat.. It'll cover both sides so you can slide to each side.
