well, I only play BF2 and Warcraft 3, and WC3 doesn't happen that often. so changing CDs is a breeze. its not hard anyway,
1. feel for button the hit
2. change CDs
3. press button again.

and turning off is easy, I don't ;)

but how can there be a motherboard that fits P4, and yet accept PC133 RAM? And how slow can the computer run at that level of memory?

And I can't understand why would anyone not air spray his CPU fan before even taking the photo.

I did not have any Air Spray, and using a vacum cleaner is not the best idea because of static electricity... Yes those capasitors have been like that for some time now, I did not know what to do with them so I just left them for now, I am planning to get a different motherboard anyway. Does any one know how to clean up and fix those capasitors without damaging them?

It's actually the Bandai lighted kit. It's pre-painted and you have to assemble it by hand. There is no glueing. Just wiring and some screwdriver work. It's really easy to build.

I love building models, but with all my hours taken up with work, I don't have a huge amount of time for old fashioned painting like I used to.

damn soy, nice, nice setup... i love the cleanliness of it...beatiful! I think what would complete it is a wireless keyboard/ mouse combo....then it would look totally sweet.

Did you guys take these pictures with a tripod? And it looks like you guys using an DSLR camera.

I have yet to find a wireless mouse that meets my standards. =/ I'd get the G7, but the 8-hour battery life sounds far too inconvienent. And I will never, EVER, get rid of my Logitech Ultra-X. This is like my 4th one.

I took mine with a Nikon D50. Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens. Just a quick handheld shot.

Not only is does your cpu HS need to be cleaned but you might want to think about replacing that motherboard also. It has some leaking capacitors.

I cleaned the HS:
cpufanandheatsinkclean4tq.jpg

And to my surprise the temperature droped by 10 degrees, never thought that little bit of dust would have such an impact...

And those capasitors all I could do was clean off the tops of them, does any one know how I can repair them? Has this happened to any one before? Do you know why it happened?

Here is what they look like now, cleaned up:

i dont really think you can actually repair a capacitor, all you can do is like replace it....and that'll take some soldering skillz and stuff

It's the dielectric inside thats starting to creep out. You can replace them yourself, but you'll need to get the exact same capacitors and install them too. You'll need fine motor skills and a soldering iron to fix that problem.

As for why they do that...just a few bad capacitors I suppose. Kind of like how one guy will get a really good car with no problems, and another guy has the same model car but it's a POS.

Sometimes it has to do with heat, if they get to hot the fluid might "boil" and then the capacitator starts to bloom.
You are not alone in the world with this problem, some ASUS and EPoX boards, and a few other brands, have had this problem aswell before. I had an AOpen which did this...

Eww your right. When you can get an 16x NEC DVD-RW from Fry's for like $59.99 there is simply no reason to have something like that in your machine.

Heres my other home. My wife calls it the dungeon, I call it mans town ;) .
We're in the process of buying a new house, so i'll be starting from scratch on a new and much needed Mans Town.
