meh, it's better than having shit stacked all over the place on it. It gives me a space i can do work at etc with out having the feeling of being overwhelmed with stuff all over it that i never use.

Just to see how things look throw some boxes on it and take some pics, maybe if you have any throw a 7800gtx box and maybe a neo4 box up on there. Then maybe some other random peripherals, and then also a second monitor. Try that take a pic see how you like it
I think that clean of a desk it nice but for me i can deal with having a small mess

not really a mess but i just like to add some personality to it. Even my old cubicle at the lawfirm i worked at had more substance to it. Maybe a calender, a clock, pictures of loved ones (or places you would rather be), paper and pencil utilities if you use it for school work. . .i mean it just looks like you just moved in there. If the rest of your place looks like that. . . wow. Nothing against you but all work and no play makes me lose my god damned mind.
 
Not sure if theres any personality to mine (aside from that it shows im to lazy to make room for myself in my already small room)
 
nice chair.. i got a cheap $120 chair from office depot.. but im looking to get a new one. whered ya get it?
 
At the corner house for $20 leg rest included chair features spinning capibilities for quick escape, and flip down back for late night gaming (doesnt work well sitting that far back while trying to squint to see a 15in monitor, but with my soon to be here 19" dell lcd it will be better)
 
How much weigh can that table hold? I am trying to get myself a ghetto desk and later buy a rig and use an old Gateway CRT on it an wondering if I can hold the Crt and rig... Or just the rig...
 
Just bought my Jerker last night at the new IKEA here in MA, i'll throw up some pics as soon as I get home

It will bend slightly in the center but it can hold both

It's bit hard to clean those cables, because I need them all and my HDs definitely need power. I'm planning to upgrade to Abit KN8 SLI and GF6800GS soon. I just don't know that is my Zalman going to fit to that Abit mobo.

all for play? guessed it by the mini ps2. But you notice the speakrs and the mouse change from the 2nd picture to the 3rd? as well as that nifty pouch thingy. Awesome setup qbert3. What are the specs??

If I clean up my room I can't find anything after that. Now I know almost exactly where everything is.

Just sold my Samsung 172x, which I relpaced with the FPW2005.
After having 3 replacements with backlight troubles I got a refund,
a free FPW2005 and bought an Eizo S2110W 21.1" widescreen :p.
I nearly got two free FPW2005's but they wanted one back :p.
 
JD LiVe: Damn, you have the same keyboard/mouse combo as I do. I've had these for over a year now, and still I think these are better than anything else. :cool:
 
just finished setting up my lanboy for now. Not complete. specs are listed at the bottom. I put the two cold blue lights inside the lanboy (yeah I some how squeezed two big cathode lights in there) I mainly wanted the lights for my desk. But cold blue and silver just look so awesome together. The UV lights will be under my monitor and around my desk some where. desk is a mess right now ;x no pictures for now.
 
whoa dude thats a very nice setup, and VERY nice desktop there, may i ask where you got it? and whats that black window there on the screen?
 
How do you like the Antec P180 I think Im going to get but but im worried about the power supply being on the bottom.
 
Monitor looks like it's going to fall off!

What's with the stereo on top of the monitor?

moniter off of box, moniter on desk... makes noah a little less nervous! lol

it's alright. the inside of the case is pretty cramped, it's not quite as quiet as i'd like it to be, the door is really flimsy, but it just looks so cool hehe. it keeps my components nice and cool and even though it's cramped inside, i like the design. overall it's a nice case. and the power supply on the button hasnt been a problem for me anyway. i think i might replace the fans with something quieter and i'll be much happier with it.

Can't afford to buy Nec's lumiled lcd (6600$) so i use CRT's because of the wider colorspace. That old compaq display is just for photoshop palettes etc. Other two are good quality and calibrated. Funny that in 2001 i bought that Samsung 1200NF with 1200€ now i could get so much bigger lcd with that price.

I have another little "bed side" table under the monitor that holds it up, cuase i like lots of desk space when i work, so with that there, i can push it back as far as i want. AND these CRTs are VERY front heavy. The stereo, that would be my previos solution for SPEAKERS! What i did was i pluged in a "car addapter"(used usally to plug a CD player in to the Cassett deck of cars who dont have there own cd players), i pluged it into the SPEAKER OUT on my motherboard and put the cassett in the deck on the stereo, it worked pretty well, had good treble and OK bass, but, turn it up half or more it really stared distorting and getting crackly, so now i just leave it there because i like it there, makes my screen look bigger, and i also use it to just listen to local radio now.
