Since I've been browsing around for mining equipment and the like, I saw this gem... its only gold rated psu which bums me out... but I figured it was worth a posting, on newegg its $289? Could be worth it but I think there might be some shipping costs...

its from the same guys that had the zotac stuff, which is what caught my eye

I have an Enermax 1050W that is still going strong after like...8 years now? Great PSU.

Any of these powersupplies are hard to find. anything above 1050. People are overspending to build mining rigs. Even if you have 1070s running 6 of them, you can tweak them to run at 100-120w easily and still be good to go with a 1050w gold PSU. Right now I have 6 running at 80% power and memory at 9200, using 105w each. Getting 30-31 Mh/s. You can run 6 of these without any issues what so ever on a 80+ gold psu. Although I got a really good deal on a 1600 watt power supply through a friend. I think you could get by with a really good 1050w by tweaking the cards for mining.

I can run the cards at 70% power but I am worried about crashes. I haven't had any crash at 80% power at all for about 5-6 days. I did has 70% power give me memory error once, so i decided to run it at 80%, which lands at around 120w for 31 mh/s. Which is pretty sweet.

Good to see someone having this in stock and not price gauging.

All three of my modded BFG EX-1000 PSUs are still going strong. Was an absolute steal at $50 a piece.
    BFG + designed by JonnyGuru = collector's items :p

The cap mods were to reduce ripple on 12V2 and 12V3 :

Yeah, I went a little overboard with them. The revised versions from the factory used much smaller ones,
but this is Texas dammit. Everything's goota be bigger!

Yup, I got the same PSU/deal back in the day. Didn't care enough to do the mod though.

I actually bought 4 of them back then, and 1 of them was the revised version with the extra caps on the back of the modular connector board for 12V2 and 12V3.
Decent chance that your's might already be factory "pre-modded".
