120mm silenX at compusa

[scottatwittenberg]

i was in compusa last night... they have some 120mm silenX fans.. are these the real or fake ones? cause i don't want a $20 piece of shit, but i would like to try modding a 12mm to the back of my shuttle, maybe.. so anyone know if the silenX at compusa is the real shit or the shitty shit?

Do you really have to go with the SilenX?
Checked out any Panaflos yet? They're about $14 each

well, i can actually walk into a store and buy it, and they are good fans.. (if it is the real thing) so i figured it would be nice to get someting from a B+M store for a change.. but i will probably just find whatever i can online and go that route..

Do they have any 80m or 92m versions?

[scottatwittenberg]

i don't know, probably, but i was only looking for a 120, i have 7 speeze 80mm's left when i got 10 for $9...

SilentX fan specs are as believable as NVidia/ATI paper launches... Not that they aren't decent quiet fans. The specs are just... very optimistic.
