Hi, I have almost finetuned my pcsystem to the max, but still need 3 x monitors.. I've heard that eg. the Samsung 2233rz which can show display in 120hz should be awsome as gamerdisplay, Because of the mentioned 120 hz..

But...

My question is now.. Will I be able to run 3 x 2233rz in 3x1 landscape in full 120 hz or will I be restricted to only run that setup in eg. 60 hz..? (Maybe a dumb question, but if I can't run all 3 monitors in 120 hz I'd rather buy some monitors with higher resolution than the 2233rz)

Thx in advance.

Cannister.

No considering the 2233rz's require Dual Link DVI ports you would be one short. Not even sure if the display port could handle the bandwith of Dual Link DVI.

displayport has >2x more bandwidth than DL DVI last time I checked

OP:
if you have either two graphics adapters or one of the Radeon HD 5--- series boards, what you've outlined will work, you just need an (active) DP to DVI adapter

will work just fine at 120hz, no reason it shouldn't (so if it doesn't, its either an artificially imposed limitation or something is buggered)

I've searched all over the web and haven't been able to find a good answer to this. Does anyone have actual experience running three monitors in eyefinity at 120hz?

Yes, you can run 3x at 120Hz. Any current connection can run 1920x1080 @ 120Hz. You would have to use an active version of a DP / DVI-D adapter if needed.
