2+2+God = 4?!
Sorry, I never was any good at calculus.

No way is this going to turn into arguing. Your so wrong that your just no way, you are wrong.
But if thoertical scientists were allowed to just say "god did it" it would mean they would be able to get back to making cool stuff again. Seriously, in the begining there was a sugar hill, which attracted the ants, that vomited out rainbows that met with anti ranbows and causes a giant bubble storm. Then all the bubbles hardened, and turned into planets and moons then the great fire fairy set some on fire (suns). And then the great invisible eating frog, who devours worlds and sits around in space started going around trying to eat all the bubbles (black holes). The fairies made little houses for themselves (pulsars) and spread fairy dust (nebulae). The planets all loved each other (gravity) and the faries made little faries to live on the planets based on the form the joker fairies though the silliest (humans). Now go make a fucking warp drive and a teleporter.
At a time in his young life where he should be out playing baseball or hanging at the mall, Jacob Barnett is in his fourth year of college, tutoring older students and .oh yeah, working on his own theories of disproving the Big Bang Theory. Thanks goes out to forum member YamahaAlex37 for the heads up.
It's sad that people look to liberal scientists for answers. They are just leading you away from the truth. There is plenty of science that backs up Genesis.
I am impressed that any young man would set out to disprove such a retarded theory in the first place....that 12 year old has more sense than the grown men that argue about it.
Good for him and God bless him too.
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their unrighteousness, 19 because what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. 20 For since the creation of the world his invisible attributes his eternal power and divine nature have been clearly seen, because they are understood through what has been made. So people are without excuse.

There also isn't any good evidence that the earth is more than 6000 years old. Carbon dating is known to have errors and scientists are always biased.
I know it is absolute truth. It's all in the Bible which is the inspired word of God. Just look at the trees, people, and everything. There is no way that it could have been chance. Logic says that there has to be a first cause, which is supported by the big bang. There also isn't any good evidence that the earth is more than 6000 years old. Carbon dating is known to have errors and scientists are always biased. A simple google search will give you lots of evidence that liberal scientists don't want you to know about. They just want to push there agenda.
I've been working on some theories for several years now that are fully supported by the bible and make sense since we see a earth that is very young.
I think people are blowing his "carbon" statements way out of promotion. I don't think you should try to extrapolate the kid's intelligence from one comment. It was probably just one of a million things that go through his head every day, like when I sometime wonder if the light in the refrigerator goes off when you close it (I'm still trying to figure out a way to test it). The reporter just happened to ask him to voice his thoughts and made a headline of it to impress his boss.
Yes it turns off. There is a switch. Look around, you'll find it. Push it and the light goes out.
Conversely, take all the shelves out and crawl inside. (Unless you have one of the old locking fridges. Which if you do, just how high is your electric bill?)

Of course I know about the switch. But how do you *really* know it goes off?
And, yes, Mr. Smartypants, I already thought of crawling inside. Jeesh, I'm not an idiot. Problem was I was never able to get the door to close all the way. My next plan is to cut a hole in the side so I can stick my head in. I just don't have the money for the tools right now (and noooo, knives won't work, they just bend).
To keep this on topic, I'm hoping this kid has some breakthroughs soon. I want my warp drives.
I love all the people here hating on this kid over his take on the Big Bang theory. I think some egos have been seriously bruised. Personally I'm glad he's thinking for himself and questioning existing theory. It's only when people question the established ideas that new ideas can be explored. Scientific theory is supposed to be challenged and tested. When a better explanation is found, the new theory is tested and if found experimentally sound, is adopted in place of the old one. That's how it's supposed to work. That's the heart of the scientific method. Whenever a theory turns into something unquestionable then science runs dangerously close to religion.
Signers of the Scientific Dissent From Darwinism must either hold a Ph.D. in a scientific field such as biology, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or one of the other natural sciences; or they must hold an M.D. and serve as a professor of medicine. Signers must also agree with the following statement:
"We are skeptical of claims for the ability of random mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life. Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be encouraged."
Bingo!! ding ding ding!!
Too many people fall under Scientism now in days. Big bang and Darwinian theory have holes in them. List of professors and well established educated individuals that question the Darwinian theory.
In a hundred years or so, give or take a few, God will teach him all he wants to know about the Big Bang.
AHAHAAHA.
What you are referring to is Hoyle's Fallacy. Dawkins answered that one pretty well in Chapter 4 - Why There Is Almost Certainly No God. It's called the Ultimate 747 gambit. My fav quote on Genesis is the chance of the perfect primordial soup generating a single strand of DNA, is the same as a tornado going through a junkyard, and a functioning 747 Jumbo Jet flying out with it.

Cliffs: Cranes > Skyhooks.
Bringing that back on topic, there is no need for a scientist to have to study (or "prove") first principles in order to ask a question and answer it. Knowing how electrons were first created is not a necessary requirement for studying a carbon atom imbalance any more than I need to know the relative abundance of carbon to study organic chemistry or DNA replication.
These are all cranes built upon basic physics, whose tenets will not all fall apart if it turns out some new math better describes how my chair 'levitates' over the atoms of my floor.
I'm not going to waste my time replying to all of you. To much poor logic, lack of scientific evidence, and bias to deal with. You guys should go here to my church forums if you want to learn more about science and the bible. My pastor is very knowledgeable and has a graduate degree.

I think I understand, now. You just want someone with balls to step up and study this area? That's completely fair. Apologies for misunderstanding.I'm not concerned with the frameworks of the fundamentals of the physics involved throughout the cosmos. They are fairly well understood and short of singularities being the big X factor in said physics, they gel well. However, there is a logical regression in studying the abundance of any form of matter over another because it can suggest that something else we don't know about is afoot. That could also imply that a basic premise of the theory of matter formation might be off or needs revision. I clearly specified an electrical universe along with the unknown origin of electrons as dovetailing into that discussion. There is also the matter of the speed of gravity and how it plays on the formation of an electrical universe that comes into question as well.
The math describes what is going on and in many cases how it is being done, but suffice to say outside of a unified field theory, I hope his search for the over-abundance of carbon leads to answering these other questions. These are the current fields I'm interested in and I'm really on a serious quest to understand them fully. That's where my interest lies and I'd like to see more science go towards answering these questions.

At least that 12 year old might live forever and hell wouldnt that be fun? Having sex with the same woman forever or worse, being abstinent forever if you never married on Earth. Wouldn't being in Heaven be like being in Church 24/7/365 for eternity? What a bonus folks! We can have cassaroles and potlucks for every meal and laugh at the tormented fuckers who had to work on the Sabbath.
