12 pipe mobile GPU this fall?

I was just flipping through the September issue of PCFormat, when I ran across a a few comments about the new Dell Inspiron XPS and it's mobile 9800 GPU, but they mentioned that a 12 pipe mobile GPU should be available later this year! Anyone know what GPU this is (nVidia/ATI)? :eek: :eek:
 
It could be either. I think the mobile 9800 is actually an X800 core, and I'm sure mobile 6800s are being worked on as well.
 
As to my current understanding I would not expect to purchase this part this year.
