Thanks Danny, getting ready to order. Is this GPU a better choice for the same price?
Sapphire hd 7950
Also, is it worth the extra 100 to bump up to a Corsair HX650 PSU and 300R Case?

Yes and no: The HD 7950 3GB will be faster but Sapphire isn't as good of a company as eVGA when it comes to customer support and warranty. Not to mention that Nvidia's drivers are slightly better than AMD at times.

Sapphire hd 7950

Yes if you can afford it.

I ended up going with the Corsair 300r Case and HX650 PSU. Ended up getting a Gigabyte 7870 GPU as well. I have everything built and running but when i fire up a game i keep hearing a fluddering beeping sound from what sounds like the PSU. Is this common? Did I get a bad one? It only happens when under load.

Yeah good choice, Only thing i would change is the ram could have saved $30 and bout 2x4gb ddr3 1600.
