100% GPU Usage StarCraft II - New Problem

So I have a 6950, and I've been running StarCraft II with various levels of custom AA(mainly 2x and 4xEQ) and the most that would happen is framerate would drop to the 20s during huge battles, but overall performance was great.
As of yesterday performance is horrible and the game is nearly unplayable.
Nothing hardware-wise on my computer has changed, and as far as I know nothing in the software has changed. CCC is showing 99-100% usage and I'm not sure what to do.

Is anyone else having similar issues? Anything I should try? I have the fan set to 40% while gaming and temperatures seem normal, and airflow through my case is normal(good).

At a loss here, and kind of pissed off...

see if your CPU OC has stayed stable. Also if your memory is still stable. SCII is a heavy CPU and memory bandwidth game. Though I'd also try updating directX, and seeing if windows update did anything last night.

SSD for system drive, two other HDDs for storage.

Like I said a few days ago it was working fine...

Um... it's just Windows Defender that's built into Windows 7...

disable it. I manually update my windows. You don't know what crap Microsoft is going to send you next.

why? Windows Defender is as integrated as Windows Firewall is... it's not Microsoft Security Essentials, which is an actual AV package.

Anyhow, there were no recent updates to the game, AFAIK, so... were you merely playing a different map type? Like Marine Arena? :p

Try disabling the forced AA, and see if that helps. Also, if the mouse helper and/or vsync is enabled in the game, disable one or both settings.

Check your 3D clocks under load with a program like rivatuner. It's quite possible that your card has failed to clock up, especially if you're doing ANYTHING that also uses video acceleration. For example, watching a movie on another screen, or leaving a flash video running in a minimized window - both can ruin your card's ability to clock up properly. This seems to be an issue with certain ATI cards, YMMV.

yea, you need to close you tube, or any flash apps that use hardware accel, AMD cards prioritize the uvd mode vs the 3d mode when both are requested, and it will drop your clocks to something like 400/1000

Clocks are definitely going up properly, just checked. Also had everything internet related closed, no browser open. Same problem.

Disabling certain settings in CCC or in game seems pointless as they had been working fine that way for months now...

Edit: Just noticed there's apparently a Windows 7 Service Pack 1 available for download through windows update, anyone think I should try that?

I dont think sp1 will help. Is your card down clocking after a while gaming? Try molnitoring for that. Also make sure you dont have any programs that tax the cpu running in the background. Try checking if you accidentally changed a setting in ccc that you shouldn't have.

Nope. It's not down clocking, nothing extra taxing the CPU(all that is normal/the same as it was before when it worked fine.)
Didn't change anything in CCC in-between when it worked and now when it's goofing.

That's the thing, like, if I changed something - anything - and then it made it suck, I would know and go revert it. But that's not the case here.

So I was wondering if there was maybe some stealth hotfix to SC2 or something that might have caused it.
