Kim Dotcom is back in his favorite position of drawing attention, making announcements and touting his new storage service, Mega. Dotcom has announced on Twitter that his cloud storage site will begin to accept Bitcoin as payment for services. It was also announced that there may be expansions into additional areas of the communication fields in the future.

Mega supporting Bitcoin makes perfect sense. Doctom’s company wants to distance itself from governments as much as possible, and a virtually untraceable payment method is an excellent way to do so.
