And I get goosebumps when eviscerate crits for 1800.....
anyway, I think most players have always known that 'locks were a very powerful class, they just take alot more skill than others (they're probably the hardest, just above druids, IMO)
And yes, it does piss me off when I go up to...
I have about a billion mods, personally. The ones I reccomend for everyone are:
CT_Mod. I prefer it because it works as a nice "base" to build a UI on.
Flexbar. If you are willing to take the time to learn it, it is better than any other bar mod out there
Titan Panel. leetness in a thin strip...
I love my mx518, personally. It is roughly the same size as that intellimouse, although the exact proportions are a bit different (it is longer and skinnier).
Amen greene! =)
Seriously, if anyone is looking for a good guild, and doesn't mind re-rolling, we'd love to have you! We now have enough to do ZG, so ~15-20 more 60's (and we have many 40-50s, myself included, who will be there soon), and we can start on MC. I honestly don't think I'd still be...
If it helps at all, my 3000+ winchester can play CS:S, WoW, and Doom 3 at 1280x1024 with good detail/AA/AF settings, while folding. You may want to upgrade the video card in ~2 years, but I'd guess the 3500+ will last you quite a while.
Yeah, we're still active. There are usually at least 2-4 people on, and often 6-8, at any given time (except maybe at 4 in the morning). You might want to post this in our forums as well, since I don't know how many people read this thread on a regular basis.
I totally agree with you. The whole "PCs are dead for gaming" mantra has been around for quite a while, and I think it will probably continue for a long time. Every hardcore gamer I know of has a PC and all three consoles, because each platform has it's advantages. Try playing a fighting game...
Actually, IMO, the only case (not counting all those weird no-name cases) uglier than the wavemaster is the tsunami, but that's just personal preferance.
I can tell you that, as is usual with these type of arguments, Tt cases are better than most people will let on, but Cooler...
All I can say about these previews is: I think I'm in love. $580 for the 4400+ is a pretty steep cost, but if I start saving now... :D
If only AMD had the capacity to crank out lower-end X2s at a more reasonable cost.
Ah well, I can't wait to see a real dual-core processor from Intel, not...
Well, I'd like to join the guild, but I have a few questions.
First: Which race/class would be the best. I am a total n00b to WoW (like 15 days), and so far all I have is a level 18 human warrior (I figured I couldn't go wrong with that) on Kilrogg. What are the differences, if any, between...
Hey, mohammedtaha, if you're in the market for a new PSU, I'd reccomend the NeoPower. The cables are actually bendable, and the PSU won't kill your machine. It works great in my praetorian (same internals as your case).
Whew, the flames have finally died down...
Anyway, I was thinking, Why doesn't AMD use a model number for all of their processors similar to the a64 FX? It would allow them to keep the benifits of their current system, without getting all the flack. The scheme could look something like...
Which will be awesome, but even then (IIRC), Intel will still be able to put out more CPUs...
Ah well, given the way the a64 is trouncing Intel, I'd be willing to pay a premium to get one of the dual-core ones. :D
Well, this entire thread is positivly hilarious. Thanks all, I needed a good laugh!
It's kinda interesting watching AMD thrash Intel so often these days. If only they had more manufacturing capacity...
Likewise. Especially since the "4400X2" that they're using in the anandtech preview is actually an opteron w/ ECC memory running at 2T on a crappy BIOS. I'm so going to get one of those, even if I have to sell a kidney (although, for a kidney, I could probably bet the 4800X2 + a new vid card...) :D
heh, that pic is from a while ago... but thanks for the compliments
Anyway, I wouldn't reccomend that case too highly, unless you can find it for < $100. It is extremly "un-modable", and the aluminum is thin as hell. You'd be hard pressed to find a stable mounting point for the rad.
Personally, I would have used a chainsaw, but you got some nice results with that hammer as well :D This is one of the funiest things I've seen in a while, just don't get too caried away. I'd hate to see you go berserk on a really nice case. That'd make me cry... :p
Personally, I like super-high sensitivity. Which is why I was overjoyed when I got my MX1000. My old IntelliMouse Explorer was soooooo un-responsive. Whenever I got a new game, I had to crank the mouse sensitivity up to max. now, I don't have to touch it hardly at all. This thing is a dream for...
Well, I finished the hard drive mounting. It turned out pretty well, IMHO.
Here it is inside the case:
Well, tomorrow we're supposed to get 6-12 inches of snow (God, I love Colorado...), so my painting plans have been put on hold for a while. I should hopefully have the CCFLS and LEDs...
The 6600GT is clocked much faster than the 6600. And the extra memory doesn't make a difference either.
As far as brands, BFG tends to OC their cards, and guarantee the cards at those OCs. And, in general, BFG has some of the best customer support. If you don't want to pay the extra cash, the...
