Okay so to set things straight the frustration and rum caused the morons comment. Did'nt mean to offend anyone here but I just happen to live near a technical school where most graduates woul'nt know a socket 370 from a slot 1.
AND... I don't need help I've fixed the problem this time and...
OK morons here's how it works. The problem does not stem from haveing VS 2005 installed because I don't. As a matter of fact I have 2010 installed and it works just fine. Contrary to Verge's opinion I know far more about how a computer works than he ever will (he strikes me as one of those...
So, here I am at 3AM EST and I want to switch from my crappy onboard graphics (because I sold my old card) to a shiny new 5550. An easy transition you say. MY ASS.
First off I've been working on computers for 20 years and I know the headaches they can cause, as a matter of fact I've run into...
Most times on windows upgrade installs it asks u to put in a legal copy of a previous windows disk during the install to verify you have a previous windows version.
I jst got a 30 gig Zune off ebay and in my opinion it is HIGHLY underrated. I've had an ipod before and I absolutely hate the itunes software and DRM they use. In my humble opinion the Zune is a great device with great software and is just as good or actually better than an ipod. The only...
If you think it's chugging on loading a driver then u can try using Bootvis
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/System-Tweak/BootVis.shtml
It logs and graphs the boot up proccess and you can see what it's hanging up on.
I'm pretty sure you cant tell but does anybody out there actually see a real world difference between DDR2 800 and 1066? I'm building a new phenom 2 rig and I seriously doubt you can tell the difference. Any thoughts?
I use sandisk sansa players usually because you don't have to worry about special software you just sync up with WMP and its done. Still uses a crappy proprietary plug instead of a standard mini usb though. Why can't these companies stick to a standard instead of hoarking us for special cables...
I thought the demo looked awesome but do they have any test running on a non bleeding edge rig? How well would these simulations run on a regular C2D for those of us without core i7 deep pockets?
and if your not that confident useing a multimeter then you can pick up one of these on the cheap

I'm in the process of leaning PIC programming and I'm trying to find a circuit simulator (like a breadboard program) that i can test out the code in a virtual circuit with the crystals, resistors, LED's, etc.. wired in to a simulated PIC so that I can keep all my experiments on the computer...
I've bought several open box items from the egg and it really is a crap shoot. Sometimes it is bare and sometimes you cant tell the difference from retail hardly. If you HAVE to have everything then you should invest the bucks in a retail.
1. I'd be very exited to use it in my first AMD build for my personal use ever in probably 10 years of system building. I have built AMD systems for others but I've always stuck with intel for my personal system, however lately in order to replace my aging 3.4 Prescott I've been seriously...
You may wanna try going to the HDD makers website and downloading their diagnostic tools to check out the hard drive. They all boot off floppys or cd's and can run low level tasks on the drive to see if it really is the drive thats failing.
Have you looked at all of your advanced BIOS settings? I'd have to check but I'm pretty sure on my board you have to specifically tell it to boot off the SATA controller instead of the regular boot order menu.
Have you actally checked the power supplys output to the motherboard (the 24 pin plug going in) with a multimeter to make sure it's providing the proper voltages to the motherboard (12,5,3.3 etc..) just to make sure.
You could try to change the settings in game and then bring down the console and type vid_restart (can't remember if you need the \ or not) to restart the settings without going out and back into the game. Also have you tried just changing one setting at a time (ie..resolution) and then playing...
