Which mouse to buy? Logitech MX Revolution vs Logitech MX518

Since MX510 is hard to find nowadays, get the MX518. You won't regret it for a second. But MX510 @ 800dpi & 1000Hz polling (+ nice pad) > MX518 in FPS/RTS games. GL.

As far as storage space is concerned, I don't need much. I don't keep a large archive of movies, games and stuff like that. 120-160GB for OS / app partition is more than enough, and for storage I'll probably get a green 1TB WD at a later time and get rid of the older drives. So in those $1500 we...

Hey guys! It's time for a new system, I think :) I can't make my mind for the exact components and I'm kinda stuck, so hopefully you could help me out. 1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc All-purpose. Photoshop, Illustrator, light video editing &...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Just to add something regarding LP2475w & games - I've been playing CS (not Source) since Beta 6.0 - that's almost 10 years now, 8 of them - competitively. This HP is my first LCD display, I previously had various CRT monitors - the latest of them being a 19" Mitsubishi 930SB (among the best)...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Is Counter-Strike (old engine) gaming, for example, possible at higher level with this display, or should I set-up a dual config - with one display aimed at quality (good color for design, sharp text) and one TN at speed (since I play mostly FPS and fast-paced games). And are there any MVA...

Philips 240PW9EB: another IPS 24 monitor

Oh yeah, it's easy to say, but I've personally tested 7 (yes, that's friggin seven) 2475w units and not a single one turned out good... bad batch and bad luck, I suppose... LG panel? Who cares, it's in a HP product, it should be tested by HP's QC. And as for the Philips... I really hope an...

Philips 240PW9EB: another IPS 24 monitor

Cool, it uses the same panel as the HP LP2475w, I hope Philips' the quality control would be better than HP's. Looking forward to it shipping to Eastern Europe.

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

OK, this monitor is officially off my list, after testing 7 (seven) of them, none came out even close to good (bad batch, I suppose) - severe banding, green/red corners, bleeding, dead pixels, etc. The bad thing is that shipping from abroad means only one display, and you have to pay for it, but...

    HP LP2475w (Possible new IPS)

Just a quick question. I went to the (only) store in my country where they sell the HP, and they only got 2 left (1 in the shop and 1 in storage somewhere else). In the shop we hooked up the available display (here you can't return/replace something after purchase, if the problem is not covered...

    24" LCD

Is it possible to set the HP to a 72% sRGB space and then calibrate it that way in XP? I don't really need or want wide gamut, I mainly print my work and it's of no use there. And in the meantime, I want normal everyday (browsing, movies) display, not one that will oversaturate everything...

    24" LCD

+1, I'm in the same boat here. I study graphic design, but don't have gazillions of money for a decent 24+ S-IPS monitor (NEC, Eizo). I now work on a CRT - 19 incher (Mitsubishi 930SB, Diamondtron tube), which was great, but the power unit gave up recently and they cannot find a new one to...

    NEC MultiSync 1970GX Review ?

Oh no, I highly doubt it - all of 1970GX's specs are superior to 1980SX. GX stands for Gamer X... something. Hope there will be some reviews soon.

    NEC MultiSync 1970GX Review ?

Hi guys :) I recently had big problems with my Mitsubishi 930SB CRT monitor and decided to finally go for a LC Display. The firm I got the CRT from wouldn't give me my cash back (obviously), but they will subtract the CRT's price from the final price of a LCD monitor of my choice. The problem...

    The new logitech MX518!

Nah, MX500 is perfect for gaming, I've tried both the latest Razer, MX510 and MX1000 and all I can say that it's up to skill... I wonder why I usually beat the crap out of the "pro" gamers with steel, func, etc. pads, teflon bands and some uber-l33t 1600 dpi mice, and I am using my almost 2...

    MB + CPU = ~$500. But what MB & CPU !?! :)

OK, I've been having mu current system for more than 2 years now (P4 [email protected], ASUS P4S8X (YEAH, I KNOW). Anyway, I have decided to buy a new mobo and cpu. I have ~500USD (but there is 20 % VAT, so I would actually have to pay 600 bucks). The new system will be mainly used for gaming and...
