Hey guys I am looking to downsize my rig. I am looking for an ASUS Maximus Gene-Z Gen 1/2 or a Gigabyte G1 Sniper (Socket 1155 Models)
I am looking to get rid of -
Silverstone Raven RV-02
Asus P8Z68-PRO - Box and all accessories works perfectly

Does anyone have one that is still fully functional?
I am looking to buy one with cash in hand to the first person that has one.
Power supply was tested and is running perfectly. I also tried the BIOS reset and that didn't help either. I am going to try to re-install the OS with Windows 7 instead of Windows 8.
So I built this machine for a friend a week ago and he finally got his graphics card. When it was installed it wouldn't boot into windows, but would post and get to the loading screen for Windows 8. I've tested the components and they all work. If you boot the machine off of just the HD4000 it's...
I like Antec's stuff. I've had a few cases including a Three Hundred and Sonata III and a Lanboy. Never had a power supply from them though. Good luck to everyone!
Guys I am selling a brand new never opened i7 3930K Sandybridge-E processor. I bought this with hopes of building a small VM server and found out that my wife is pregnant. I am looking for $450 for this and its firm. I am coming in over $100 less than current online prices.
Froogle-...
I like where he is going with this. Not all of us are looking for 60+ FPS in every game while having triple monitors guys. Some of you need to keep your ignorant comments to yourselves.
If this is any indication of what Bulldozer will bring I think AMD will finally be back int he races. I'm awaiting an upgrade right now, and I want to see some benchmarks from sites liek this one, Tomshardware, Anandtech and Xtremesystems.
Those Calculators are crap. If it were me I would have gone with an 850W - 900W for that kind of setup. Just my opinion. Also What all do you have in your case, and I mean all fans, lights, anything that uses power.
I would upgrade to a 650W minimum or even a 750W for growth. Theres something to be said for PSU planning. Also go with somehting thats 80Plus Gold Rated its worth the money.
Remember guys somethings only worth what people will pay for it. If its getting that much on Ebay, then list it already!! What are you waiting for?? :P
Hrm.. Under my H70 I get the following on my Phenom II 955BE
- 30C Idle
- 38C General Gaming
- 50C Under OCCT Testing 100%
Id try and update your BIOS and try some other Temp Programs, like Speed Fan or some of the others.
Most of what I know of BD is from Xtremesystems.org, which isnt too much. AMD seems to be keeping it under tight wraps.
I'm content with my 955 BE for now. But I cant wait to sink my teeth into that 8 core monster!
Alright guys I want to upgrade my video card to one of the new 6xxx ATI cards. My plan is to rebuild the core of my rig (CPU,MEM, and MOBO) to a 8c Bulldozer setup. I think my 4890 has given me an awesome run and now is time to start planning for the new setup!
Current Setup-
AMD Phenom II...
Id say the 4890 due to the increases in efficiency over the 4870. Also if you happen to get 2 of these, they can still compete with some of the big dogs!
-$650 Dollars in Newegg Gift Cards (I wanted them for my new Bulldozer build coming soon!)
-46" Samsung LED TV
-Sony Blu-Ray Player
-$20 BestBuy Gift Card
I play on a 28" monitor that runs at 1920X1200. I play games like Dawn of War II, L4D2, and Starcraft II. I am looking forward to Diablo III and some other titles this year. Just making sure that this would be a viable upgrade.
I was wondering if it would be a good move to purchase another 4890 and run them in Xfire. With my Phenom II 955 running at 3.8Ghz will It hold me over for another year or so? I'm not sure if my PSU would be able to run them both though..
My machine is below in my signature.
I was checking out NewEgg and noticed the new Antec NEO ECO 520C PSU and was wondering if anyones had any experience with this PSU yet? A single 40a +12v rail and 1x 6-pin and 1x6+2 pin for $60 shipped seems kinda nice on paper.
