I need it for a system that requires SATA connectivity but doesnt have driver support for add in cards, that why i need it to be able to go into NATIVE/legacy ide mode like the intel chipsets can. (Ecomstation / OS2 is the operating system)
We had a full length CPU card go out that had SATA...

Dont buy Belkin!! Belkin = Poo
I dont think ive ever seen a Belkin product that i was impressed with. Just the fact that they have like 20 different revisions of the same wireless adapter model number that all use different drivers makes me want to projectile vomit.
I have an intel 80gb SSD (gen2) and 1 tb wd black edition hdd. When i installed Windows 7 i made the SSD the system drive, but Windows 7 put the boot sector on the HDD, so i cant boot unless they are both plugged in. How to i move the boot sector over to the SSD?

Anyone have similar issues running P6T Deluxe / ICH10R with raided Velociraptors?
I just found this thread today, my 2x VR300's are coming in the mail later this day, i hope i dont have issues. :(
I was reading about the Intel Matrix Raid stuff, seems like a better route to go for 4 drives. How would you guys set it up? Short stroke like 120gb in raid 0 and the rest in raid 10 or 5?
I recently got my hands on 4x 150gb 150GB WD Raptors on the cheap. Im going to be using the ICH10R on my P6T Deluxe x58. Was planning on using RAID 0+1
I am currently using an old 74gb raptor as my vista64 system drive and have a 200gb wd drive as my data.
I was planning on enabling the...

Update:
So i even tried going back to my 8800GT and it still wouldnt work, i thought that was odd. I got a Antec Signature SG650 650W PSU from NewEgg to replace mine and that fixed the issue! Unfortuneatly i had to take out the case fan that cools the PSU on my case because it wouldnt fit...
