Wow 17 gigs to get that perfect kiss...

Man i should really sit down and play this - i started a game - what 3 years ago and i got to an interesting point but then put it down due to other stuff that came up - but all these updates... make me want to play again.

Is it a controller game or keyboard/mouse ?

The problem with comments like these on 'str' of classes; is you need to include the difficulty you played on as this can change drastically on different difficulties.

They will probably add more content to act 3 if they follow their normal patching sequence for the last two divinity games.

7900 and 4070 ti really aren't options due to power consumption. I personally think it comes down to 6950 or 4070.

If you have very specific suggestions on how to improve the menu and can somehow express them in a fashion that someone at Larian actually reads them and comprehend them they are a company always willing to improve things (though it might take 3 or 6 or 12 months given the level of noise to read).

The quick search i did said the 3080 used around 304 watts vs the 4070 190 watts. I suppose this is 50% more for the same performance but will also put the sfx psu near the limit of what it can happen. I would think the additional headroom provided by the 4070 would be advantages in my case...

Yea - it really had some very fine moments. I'd love to see them keep the basic story but redo the game in D:OS engine and flush out some of the elements the publisher made them cut.

Well Dragon commander would have been better if they had actually supported it - but they dropped it like a hot rock and never looked back. Swen spoke several times how they thought Dragon Commander approach would be the real winner and D:OS-1 was just a diversion. He really got that one wrong.

To be honest it appears to be a massive success both in terms of user experience and sale # but all Swen talks about is how burned out they are and the desire that their next game be a lot smaller in scope ;) - I would not be shocked if all 400 people who worked on the game make more than 500K each.

Not a good list because critic view will drift from user review. As an example resident evil which is #4 pc game is 91 critic and 70 user but bg3 which is 97 critic is only 9.3 user ;)

If i'm not mistaken they use akamai for downloads so they don't really 'provision' servers.... akamai handles a very large % of the internet traffic and bg 3 is a tiny % of the internet traffic.

Yea i did some more reading and i think it comes down to the 6950xt or 4070 with the 4070 having a power advantage. So I think i'll just watch those two for pricing between now and black friday and maybe i can nap one for $550 that will fit in my case. I really like the 4070 power form factor.
